You, as parents, are your children’s first teachers and when we are looking after and planning for your child we will need your help. Please pass on any information you feel we need to know as you drop your little one off, either with their key worker or the room leader.
We will e-mail you our newsletter each month, you will find details of any special days we are celebrating or events that are taking place and photos of things we have done. We will also keep you up to date on our Facebook page.
We will do observations of your child and put them on the Internet on “Tapestry,” so you can watch your little one’s progress. You will have a password and you can add any of your own observations and interesting things that you may do as a family. We will also complete a “Learning Journey”, recording their time and learning whilst at playgroup, which will be yours when your child leaves us.
We are a registered charity and to keep our fees low we need to do fund raising throughout the year. We would ask that each family supports these to enable us to survive. Each half term we ask for donations of small items that you can just slip in your shopping e.g tissues, wipes, hand wash. Again this enables us to keep fees down. We ask for 10p each day for snack.
